Objectives of the PBA

The Solebury Township PBA was incorporated in 1989. It was formed for the mutual aid, protection, welfare and advancement of its members. The PBA seeks to improve the conditions of the law enforcement profession. The PBA also seeks to create a better understanding for the common interest of all police in our community and to better improve all such officers in their line of duty. 

Activities of the PBA

The PBA has been involved in the community since its inception. Over the years we have assisted and participated in many community activities. Each year the PBA awards a scholarship to a student of the New Hope - Solebury High School with the Jack Hopson Memorial. The members of the PBA organize and provide a yearly annual golf tournament for the benefit of the PBA and charities to which we contribute. Throughout the year we donate funds to different local organizations, including the Jack Hopson Memorial Scholarship fund at the New Hope Solebury High school, Toys for Tots, Lambertville - New Hope Rescue Squad, Sunshine Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County (Bowl For Kids Sake) and Doylestown Hospital Pediatric Ward.
